Thanks to everyone who attended my recent open studio at The Albers Foundation in my home-state of Connecticut! We brought together so many attendees from all around who had the chance to engage with new works, which included the wonderful staff at the foundation, as well as many friends and family from the surrounding area (as well as NYC). Many different ages and backgrounds joined together that day making for a special event.
And the new works made in this four-week residency continue on a path towards transformative production that involves craft and experimentation:
- sketches and models
- architectural paper castings
- painting easel / “guillotine” installation
- temporary outdoor shag-bark-hickory-tree intervention
- and a new editioned wall-work that responds directly to The Albers Foundation library and archive
