This sculpture is based on the Urania model typewriter fabricated by the company Clemens Mueller AG. The “!.” key descends into an apparently soft surface that supports the structure. In a similar phenomena, the hammer breaks through its rib- bon, paper, as well as its rubber and steel cylinder, finally landing inside the abyss of the machine.
